My name is Amanda Judd and I am a recent graduate of the Print Journalism program at Sheridan College. My education also includes an Honours BA in English from Laurentian University.
Design and layout are my main interests, but I have also been a writer and an editor while working as an editorial assistant at Moorshead Magazines and Mechanical Business.
As a student of the Sheridan College Print Journalism program I had the opportunity to learn and participate in the many different tasks involved in putting together a weekly newspaper. I have taken part in every aspect of the Sheridan Sun production, from writing, photography, and editing, to layout and design. I was also the editor-in-chief for two e-zine publications while at school and a peer mentor for the first year class.
